The Green Tree Writing Company is a division of the well-established GD Contracting Services Ltd, which was created in 1997 to provide design and project management to the building services industry. Our project management services during the late 1990’s assisted projects such as Marks & Spencer in Kingston-upon-Thames, Fiat (UK), and a multitude of sites in London and the South East of England.
During those early years, because of an increasing need, we evolved to be able to offer a more defined service around project drawing and documentation. Sites we were involved with included the Claire's Accessories expansion programme in the UK, where we produced many of the premises design and layout drawings in CAD on behalf of the building services contractor. We also provided design and construction drawings for other projects in the City of London and local council premises in Surrey where system upgrade works were being carried out.
As a result of the increased demand in supplying documentation, it was decided in 2004 to launch The Green Tree Writing Company as a platform to specialise and help further promote these more defined areas of operation and also to target potential clients in a broader business field.
Our present company has been developed from over 40 years of experience and knowledge gathered in the engineering and construction industry, and also writing in the media domain.
Over the past year or so we have increasingly used the Internet to promote our services to a wider field, however much of our work still comes from regular clients and through recommendation from companies and their project team who have experienced the quality of service that we provide.
